Disadvantages

Vampires are not human: They do not recover mana by resting.

Most of the other things regarded as vampire weaknesses in popular media (such as garlic, sunlight and running water) are in fact the drawbacks of particular abilities. They become associated with vampirism simply because vampires are the most common ability-using group.

Strengths

Vampires can acquire abilities easily. They simply spend experience equal to their willpower +1, and choose what they wish to meditate on. The options are:

• Meditate on a path to gain a randomly chosen starting ability from that path
• Meditate on an existing ability to gain a randomly chosen ability dependant on that one
• Meditate to gain a certain ability if you have a teacher who already has it (or if the ability is Stolen Life or Eternal Life)

Killing Vampires

Vampires die when their lifeforce is exhausted. If they run out of Health Points, they are merely stunned.
