Throbbing Cock video
From Legacy of Dracula
This video, posted on Youtube, is an edited recording of a lecture given by Simon Philip at Lancaster University, on the subject of astrology. The lecture itself was quite remarkable for a few reasons:
- Simon was frustrated by the inability to remember a word which was 'on the tip of his tongue'. 5 minutes into the lecture, he remembered it and exclaimed "Of course! It's 'throbbing'" in mid-sentence.
- He then goes on to explain this outburst by saying "Throbbing cocks aren't the subject of this lecture, I just had it on the tip of my tongue last night."
- One student, (Johnathan Leigh has claimed responsibility online), connected his laptop to the lecture theatre's projector, and displayed clips from pornographic videos on the screen behind Simon whenever the lecturer wasn't looking.
- Simon had, the previous night, been writing a sexually explicit fan-fiction based on a novel by Opal Rosemay. The photocopied lecture notes which he handed out to students inadvertantly included a page from this work.
There are now several videos circulating.

The Original Video
This is a low-resolution recording of the lecture, which was posted by one student to show several friends who had missed the lecture itself. It was removed after approximately 24 hours by youtbe staff, due to the pornographic images.
The Throbbing Cock
The video most netizens will think of when hearing the name "throbbing cock video", this version has been edited to rearrange Simon's words. This edit doesn't show any of the projected porn, so remained on youtube quite longer. In this abridged version, the words are "I'm your guest lecturer this week, and I'm going to be talking about throbbing cocks. The most important throbbing thing in modern anthropology is cocks. Since the middle ages, people have had a desire to see throbbing cocks, and often visited throbbing wise men to have their throbbing cocks examined. If you look closely, the night sky is full of throbbing throbbing cocks."
