Simon J Phillip: Garfunkel's younger brother (21), they look quite alike but Simon is a much nicer person, probably immediately obvious from his body language. Purple hair. He has a cheap, battered sports bag which isn't quite big enough, so the hilt of a fencing sword is visible sticking out. Kind of awkward physically, a little clumsy at times, only really confident when he's holding a sword. Same choker/bracelets as Geoffrey, but green instead of blue.

Simon lost his left arm in s3e06 (23rd November 2007) when he was bitten by one of the Old Ones in the form of a dragon. Since then, his general demeanor has probably become a whole lot more angsty.

Latest News

In autumn/winter '07, Simon has started behaving a little oddly. This came to a head on October 24th, when he was seen naked in a local park, apparently trying to catch fish from a waterfall with his claws. He failed at this quite badly, falling into the waterfall and suffering a fractured skull and 9 broken ribs, after which he was admitted to Lancaster Royal Infirmary. The doctors decided that he would be kept in for observation after the injuries healed, but Simon checked himself out of the hospital a few days later, despite the obvious risks. This disturbs the rest of the team, but he has so far been unwilling to talk about it.

It has since been speculated that Simon may have been affected more than was previously thought when he was bitten by a werewolf in s2e01. Possibly he is on the road to some kind of transformation...

s3e8 (29th November 2007) - Simon's daughter Phoenix was born.

s3e10 (10th December 2007) - Simon was offered a job as Professor of the new department of Occult and Practical Philosophies at the University of Durham, based on his fame (and also, apparently, his ability to cope with pressure) after the Throbbing Cock video.
