She has suffered from amnesia since being effected by a vampire with the ability Lethe's Dream. She was already estranged from her family at that point, and so had nobody to remind her of who she was. Since then, she has been living under her pen name, Opal Rosemay

A new player who joined the group at the beginning of season 2. Opal is a famous author, who was attempting to do research for a book on vampires.
